Default BS Zelda Ancient Stone Tablets question...

I'm sure this has been asked before and probably answered before, but I don't know exactly how to ask this question or search for the answer so please bare with me.

Question (Short Version) - Is there a ROM of BS Zelda AST that has all 4 weeks combined into one file that works on Emulators?

Question (Long Version) - Is there a fully patched ROM of BS Zelda AST that has all 4 weeks combined into one file that Retropie's SNES Emulators can read? More specifically, have the ability to carry over items in the next maps WITHOUT having to go into the save files and renaming them as the current method involves? I have Retropie set up inside an NES Cartridge and ONLY have a USB SNES Controller as my input device (no keyboard).

    No such thing

There is no version of this with all 4 wks joined into one rom

File Migration is not optional, you can either do the save rename thing or you can rename wk 2 too have the name of wk 1 either way wk1 save gets passed to wk2 and so on

Can you explain that last part. If the game has the same name, it will use the same file? Am I understanding that correctly?

That's how save files work, they just have the same filename as their associated rom. But you can't have a pile of roms with all the same name, unless maybe you make all the roms use the same filename but different extensions? Like .sfc .snes .bin .078 are all extensions that an emulator might accept
*PSA* Wii Redump collector's can now unscrub ISO files. So scrubbed games can now be verified. You can find the program to do this here

.smc .sfc .fig .swc are all valid SNES file extensions (not sure if those are actually different forms of files though)

You may get away with different zip file names also depends if the save is named the same as the zip or rom contained with in it, for zipped roms

I lost most of my Nintendo files due to HDD failure

Not really. There may be a useless header that the copier left on the rom indicating that the rom came from a Super Wild Card (so correctly it'd be a .swc) or Super Magicom (.smc) or Game Doctor (.078). Bin and fig are just generic file extensions that wouldn't even necessarily indicate that the files are SNES roms, I think the Super UFO header referred to one of those? I think there were a handful of other copiers, some of which pirated code from other manufactures, so some random brand could maybe leave a Super Magicom header or whatnot.

Sfc isn't (or wasn't) a real extension, it's just something somebody made up. But hey, it makes perfect sense unlike real extensions, so it took. Chances are any of the other random extensions one might find on a rom won't match a possible header anyways, so there's really no reason not to use .sfc.
