Default ROMs vs ISOs for MAME

Say I buy the PS2 CD Atari Anthology (which has a few dozens arcade and 2600 games in it) but I want to extract from the CD's ISO file all the ROMs of each game so that I can play them in my PC using MAME.

How would you go about doing this?

Honestly, I don't think that's possible. Either you run that PS2 game on a PS2 console/emulator or you go and download the arcade games contained in that anthology from a MAME set to emulate them on your PC.

If you are able to somehow get the ISO onto a Windows computer, you can use WinRAR or some other archival program to open it, and extract whatever you wish.

As to whether the results work in MAME is another question entirely.
