"copy protected" when trying to unzip snes roms

hi, new to the forum and new to roms, i apologize if this has been covered before. i'm trying to add roms to my super everdrive, i've downloaded one and i'm trying to extract the file with winrar, but i keep getting a pop up saying the file is copy protected. ive searched and searched and can't get any info on why this keeps happening. can anybody help me out? thank you

Can I request a screen shot of the error?
Sometimes if a file broke during the download, it may issue strange errors. Re-downloading the archive may help.

Are you trying to extract the files on your PC, or on your Everdrive SD card? If it's the SD card, there's a little switch on the side, make sure it's pushed to the unlocked position.
