Please help with Super Spacefortress Macross

Hi guys,

Im noob here, and I would like to ask some help.

I already tried super spacefortress macross using on both mame164 and mame181 but still fail to open it. The dialog said "The selected game missing one or more ROM or CHD images." Its happen exactly same when I open Alien VS predator for the first time, but can fix with Q-sound. Now I already have Q-sound and neogeo package on my roms folder, but still can't play super spacefortress macross.
Any help will be great.

My live will be incomplete without this game. Lol

The game is for neither Capcom System II aka CPS2 or Neo-Geo so having those extra files would not help anyway

The rom from https://www.emuparadise.me/M.A.M.E._..._Macross/14334 should be all that is needed

Best way to find out though if anything is missing is to use a gui version of mame like IV/Play that is a front end for mame or go for a fully gui based port like MAMEui and right click on the rom you want to run and hit audit

It could just be that you are using a version of MAME that does not like the older rom set that we host that can be fixed via a rom update pack that would need to ran through clrmamepro to rebuild your existing set, updating from the update pack (you can't just replace roms with an update pack directly though as packs only contain changed or added roms from a rom zip file so doing a direct copy over would result in the new and updated files being there but the old files no longer being there)

You need the rom "nmk004.zip" alongside the macross.zip rom

(Just found this while moving some of my roms to do some tests)
