For some reason this Mario Kart DS game doesn't want to show english. There doesn't seem to be a language option in the game. The NDS emulator language setting is set on English. How do I fix this issue?

Recheck the rom you downloaded, could be an oops pick.

Try booting the bios and change the language there before booting the game again

I imagine the emulator language setting would be for the emulator menus not the language of anything from the games or bios

I already have the Bios selected in the emulation settings. Still shows the wrong language in Mario Kart DS only.

Selecting the bios in setting and booting the bios are two separate things

If language is not selected in-game it is selected by the consoles bios and the DS console is multi language as are most EU and US games and even the odd Jap game has multi Languages in them

How do you boot the Bios in the NDS Emulator?

    Depends on the emulator

DeSmuME you don't need to you just go to Config/Firmware settings (you will see a list of settings there including Language) but if you wanted to in the Config Emulator Settings set the real NDS bios up there and set it to Boot from Firmware and start any NDS or GBA rom, it will boot the bios/firmware up as a normal DS would and use the internal Options to change the language

You want it setup as the images show
