Default PSX vs N64 game sizes

I notice that Playstation ISO's take up a lot more memory than Nintendo 64 ROM's, even though both systems have roughly the same graphics detail. Why is this?

Music ,FMV'S and fluff data tend to be the reason. Or just much bigger games sometimes. Some Playstation games span 3 or 4 Cd's

Even though I grew up with a Playstation, I hold much more nostalgic affection for cartridges for some reason. =P

And I guess that makes sense. Sort of a well-we-have-so-much-more-space-we-might-as-well-use-it scenario. XD
