Default Tales of Symphonia (disc 1) (Gamecube) sound problem

    CPU: AMD quad core 3.8GHz
GPU: Nvidia GeForce GT 610, 2GB vram
    RAM: 8GB DDR3
    OS: WIndows 7
    Emulator: Dolphin 5.0

The sound for Tales of Symphonia disc 1 sound choppy and robotic, like I'm lagging, but I'm getting a steady 60FPS, 60VPS, 100%. The weirdest part is disc 2 has the same exact intro, and it runs the sound just fine. I got both isos from emuparadise, so it seems strange that they would behave differently. I tried seeing if it was some strange fluke with the download of the 7z file or a problem extracting, but same sound problem. I also tried the redump on this forum by Warrior (link below), problem still persists. Is this a case of bad ripping, disc defect, or something else? Thanks ahead of time

It's not the dump so you can rule that out played this game on my Wii from EP's Main site version and no laggy sound

The GC game on the Wii I should of said, I also forgot to mention I use a USB HDD so I never played it from disc

Occasional sound stutter is mentioned by testers though in the compat list, though can't explain why the same intro would play better from disc 2 vs disc 1

GC and Wii Emulation is far from perfect though anyway even with the fixes (Not saying it is bad either)

Gah, that leaves me with testing the game on my gamecube and getting a compatible rom drive, or testing isos from other websites, assuming it isn't a dolphin problem. If it is a dolphin problem, nothing I can do.

Problem with the GC drive is that it reads Burned Media slower than Retail Pressed discs

I can only assure you that it is not the disc image though, if you feel you must test it then best way is via a Wii not a GameCube, though the disc reading speed may not effect this game, some others from DVD on the GC lag during FMV mostly, from Burned DVD (Makes no difference if it's DVD Mini or Full size or -R or +R) or even streamed via Ethernet Crossover Cable, used to do both back in the day with my GC, Most games do run fine from Burned discs though, the lag issues only happens with a few games, don't remember this being one of those though and guess you would only be burning disc 1 to test this, just make sure you use Quality media, preferably DVD+R, but high quality DVD-R should work just as good

I own the game on gamecube, just wanted to check if it has any problems while running on it before I rip, but it looks like it may be dolphin for some reason. Dolphin can extract gamecube files, so i extracted a file named title, compared it in H, exact duplicate, so it may be that a setting is derped up somewhere. Passed the info about disc 2 working propperly to the Dolphin bug team, since no one else seemed to notice yet.
