Default Please add this Odyssey 2 emulator

Please take a look into these threads:

    1st thread contains O2M version 1.20, it's currently the best Odyssey 2:

Emulator, since MAME is having some issues with these games.

2nd thread has my explanations for having both with me. And a few tips for someone that wants to try these games.

I noticed Emuparadise doesn't have an entry for Odyssey 2 in the emulators area. I tested this version 1.20 and is indeed working, in my PC, in fullscreen and with my gamepad. Previous versions had issues or were not working at all. The 1.20 is OK.

    Update:

I added the emulator and all games I could find, from Rene's Videopac:

    Available:
O2EM 1.20 (was already being offered with the BIOS)
    O2EM 1.01 (doesn't support fullscreen and gamepad).

This link, to be more precise:

For 1.01, the game POPEYE has some strange bugs, such as you not dying if gets near Brutus, or he doesn't throwing stuff at you. In 1.20 these bugs were corrected, so I am only adding this 2002 version if you are curious about it.

Once you are in O2EM 1.20 folder, open command prompt and type:

    O2EM -wsize=2
    O2EM -wsize=3
    O2EM -wsize=4

    2, 3 or 4 times

    Or fullscreen:

    O2EM -fullscreen

Then use -s2=3 for enabling the gamepad (UP, DOWN, LEFT, RIGHT, FIRE). I use -s1=2 when the game doesn't recognize the joystick and needs the keyboards. For more info about how this works, please visit the Videopac.nl forums.

Doing that, the emulator will open and a list of all games will be available for you to open them.

    Example:

    O2EM -fullscreen -s2=3

I recommend creating a shortcut from O2EM.exe and adding these other commands (right-click it, properties).

    That's all... hope that helps.
