Default Question. (PC HDD on X360)

Is it a good idea to put a PC hard drive into an Xbox 360 to turn it into a PC?
An Xbox 360 on the inside is just a PC running the Xbox software.

You can but only specific hdd's and sizes iirc. You can easily google a list though.

It may be more like a pc than others but it's still not a pc

I'm sure there are very elaborate hacks to let you install Linux but from my knowledge the 360 is one very tough nut to crack so its really not worth it.

If you want a all purpose funbox I suggest a Single Board PCB PC kit like the Raspberry Pi 3 and the sort, they are very cool.
THE BEST METHOD to run PSX games (and everything else for that matter) is via Retroarch - http://buildbot.libretro.com/nightly/
If you have any questions on how to set it up on Windows please feel free to ask, its very easy.

What you want to do isn't really possible, not unless the 360 is already blown open with a JTAG or RGH (God I haven't said that bullshit in a long time, I remember when every other post of mine contained "JTAG").
