Graphics issues and input plugin suggestions help!

So I decided to go through Legend of Dragoon, and the backgrounds tend to have these weird blue/green lines going through them. Not sure what that's about!

Also, are there any good controller plugins? I'm playing with a PS3 controller and the default plugin ATM, and it sometimes drops my input. Quite frustrating for timing such as Legend of Dragoon's Additions

So basically:

1. Any recommended input plugins that won't drop my inputs?
2. Does anyone have any idea what I'm talking about with the weird lines going through the graphics/backgrounds? If so, do you know how I can fix that?
