Default mameui64 sound and video issues

I just installed mameui64. Some games work fine others have terrible video and sound quality. As an example, Street Fighter 3 works fine but Killer instinct and some other games are pretty much unplayable because the sound and video are so bad. Any help would be most appreciated. I'm a total newb and really don't know how to configure hlsl or use the custom game feature of this emulator. Thanks.

Try the 32bit build instead from http://www.progettosnaps.net/mameui/
Or use IV/Play with Mame from http://mamedev.org/release.php

You may also want to try a totally different emulator that is based more on game playability rather than accuracy that MAME is intended to do

    Mod projects - XBOX
Phantasy Star Online Episodes 1 & 2 - online quests in offline mode packs [COMPLETE]
    [Quest Packs Collection]
GTA San Andreas - Hot Coffee [COMPLETE]
[Mod ready] & [Full ISO ready]
GTA San Andreas - Real Car Names extra content mod [WIP] [Back burner, just won't have the time ]

Thanks for the reply. Yeah I may just need to use more than one emulator for different types of games. I was using mamefx32 but it doesn't handle chd files very well. I will try that emulator that you recommended and see how it works. Are there guides out there regarding how to configure hlsl? I see a lot of people willing to give their ini file but no real guides to configure it yourself.

That is why you use a gui version to you don't need to mess with ini files but as it happens not much to setup as far as sound goes

Maybe a screen grab of what you consider horrible video as far as I am aware MAME got the game in question running fine

http://caesar.logiqx.com/php/emulator.php?id=u64emu might be worth a try also though that is just for KI and KI2
