It's probably not worth the effort. Nintendo didn't bother matching 3DS screens any better than they did with the DS. Replacement screens are surely as dubious if not worse.

    God bless America

I've replaced some DS screens, stuff ordered through ebay should be fine boxed in bubble wrap. There are also some domestic shops that sell parts but their prices aren't as cheap.

Yeah, the thing is 5 years old so it had a decent life I guess. Not to mention they are finally starting to come out with games that won't run on the "old" 3DS.

You can mod a n3DS to replace the c-stick with a PSP stick.

Why would anyone want to do that?

I won't be looking at a new 3DS anytime soon I don't think. I would rather start upgrading my computer than drop $200+ on a new 3DS

Because the c-stick is for kids or people with small thumbs. It's a nipple.
Plenty of people have done that mod although some were unsuccessful.

I have fairly large hands and digits and I don't have any trouble with it .

I'd take it over the PSP nub any day.

I don't like the c-stick it just feels too small, which is why I got a brand new o3DS XL while they were still easily available + CPP.
I wouldn't say I've got massive hands but I've always found Sony controllers to be on the small side. I get cramps from extended gaming sessions. No problem with Xbox or 360 controllers.

I also got a grip kit for Vita because it really makes a difference.

My right thumb rests on the c-stick with the n3DS, it reminds me of a pointing stick on a laptop. I feel about the same (and have the same issue) with the Dualchalk. I'm a fan of the Xbox and 360 controllers. Much nicer fit for my hands and I feel the ergonomics are way better in general.

Agreed with 360 controllers. Fits perfect for me.

Standard gamecube ones were probably the worst for that.

Ninty could've just integrated CPP properly instead of doing what they did imo, or just kept the CPP addon idea with the new processor. The old console feels so much better with it, and not just because of the right slide stick.

I don't mind the GC controller. Repeated use of the triggers gets uncomfortable and the d-pad is obnoxious but other than that I'm fine with them.
