Yeah, most jobs usually treat your first 90 days as a trial period anyway.

You should talk to your boss by all means Roxas but I wouldn't recommend blowing up at him. Certainly not when you've got a pretty cushy job doing something you enjoy, hours aside. I think you'll very much regret letting this one go.

    Aye, 3 month probation period.

I got lucky with mine, started on 28 hours a week, impressed the boss man enough in the first two weeks I got offered a permanent full time job for the start of the 3rd week.

It's not like I'm going to be going crazy at him, but from what I can tell anything over 40 hours a week is full time. I don't get benefits or anything, and yet I'm working full time hours. My co-workers are full time, and they're working 33 or so hours a week. I'm calm about it, but this whole situaton sucks. And the pay sucks, btw. It sucks HORRIBLY. Especially when you don't get overtime for working 55 hours.

We don't have a trial period here I guess at the radio station. I dunno why, but they're a lot different. I'm not blowing up at my boss, but I'm quite frustrated. I'm looking into another radio job, it's about an hours drive from my house but it's still in radio. My girlfriends Dad lives just down the street from the station and told me I can stay with him whenever I feel the need to. But, we'll see. I still need to call the department of labor to ask them about if what they're doing is illegal or not. But right now things just aren't looking good here.

I even found an employee call sheet from nearly ten years ago, all the part timers are gone. The only thing that hasn't changed is the full time staff. Been the same way for 10 odd years. There's really no growth here anyway.

Sounds more like it's a stable place to work if you get a full time job.

Is it a local station or a national?

    We're local.

There's also no chance to get a full time job, I asked my co worker that last night. As I said, no room for growth here. Which is kinda why I want to go to the bigger one an hour from me. I actually feel like I could continue my career there.

Your choice, obviously, just make sure you line it up before leaving the current .

I doubt the bigger station will be nearly as lax with anything .

    Aaaaaaand done!

Might fuck around with Mercenaries a bit and then just delete it. Can't be bothered with all the other extras for the twentieth time

Looked a bit better and very smooth but yeah just another Capcom rerelease

The shooting gallery completely glitched out though, after 4 or 5 targets nothing else popped up and couldn't even quit and leave. Had to reload. Not that I care but still.

Talked to my boss about the whole situation today, turns out we just hired someone new so guess who's hours are being cut down to just the weekends now? Mine. I'm surprisingly okay with it. I've saved up enough to help split the cost on a new car that I desperately need with my Dad. So, I'm surprisingly okay with it. I should probably get to sleep now.
