I'm trying to set up a basic MySQL query PHP script, but I can't find which function to use. The function from the tutorial I'm using gives me an error reading "Supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource".
This is the code I'm using for the script.
<div style='background-color: #ffffff'>
PHP Code:
$db = mysql_pconnect("localhost","nacb1610","letmein");
mysql_select_db('nacb1610');
$query = "select * from entries where ".$searchtype." like '%".$searchterm."%'";
$result = mysql_query($query);
$row = mysql_fetch_row();
echo($row[1]);
</div>
The background is white just so it's easier to see for anyone using the new skin.
