    Default Nibtools (C64)

    So I was reading online about nibtools that converts the nib floppy files to be readable in a C64 emulator. What I also read was that you need an old computer to get the thing to convert the files. Is there any alternatives or anyway to use it on modern computers?

    Sounds more like nibtools was needed for users who originally copies thier floppies to be used on an emulator. These same floppies should be readily available online in rom-sets and such. We're you actually trying to rip and convert an original 5.25 floppy?

    No. I got the nib file from here. It was then I found out that Vice couldn't read these file extensions so I Googled it and then I learned about Nibtools. It was after that, I learned that it doesn't work on modern computers.

    You could try micro64disktool. It can convert nib to g64 afaik.
