Default Problem extracting files using 7 zip, to use on NES Power Pack

    Hi
I am new to the forum and new to ROMs.
I downloaded the full rom pack for NES with the hope of using in my power pack.
the file downloaded as a .rar type file.
I downloaded 7 zip to extract the files. All the files are now extracted and saved as a .7z type file and not as a .nes type file.

I thought that the roms would have extracted as a .nes type file.

Does anyone know how to get this to work properly?

I am sorry if this seems like a silly question, I am just not super computer savy.

7z is the 7zip compressed format. Sounds like you did the opposite of extracting them...?
*PSA* Wii Redump collector's can now unscrub ISO files. So scrubbed games can now be verified. You can find the program to do this here

also possible that the rar contained 7z compressed NES roms or zip compressed rom files

if so those will also need extracting to use with a NES flash kit
