Default Wii game cover images for USBLoader GX

I have close to 400 games now and am updating this regularly by placing the files in the MEGAsync directory on my hard drive. It does take a long time to keep updating covers through USBLoader GX on the Wii (not to mention sometimes freezing during d/l for some, having to reset, start over, etc; making your friends wait (or kids) to download images, especially when you get a few hundred games, so I thought it would be nice to at least get a big head start and save some time.

    Instructions:

Go to the link above (direct link with no advertisements to worry about)

    Choose download as zip

Extract this to your SDCard's config/images directory

    much appreciation for this effort.
will use these images as part of a synopsis (separate project) and will also serve their intended purpose.
    thanks a lot for these.
(@ the would-be rippers, the HTTP host is mega. take that for what it's worth. th ui has a lot going on behind the scenes, and isn't at all clear on operations.
have two or more tabs open, if at least to keep track of the mega-to-browser buffering status.)

Just so you know but you can download packs directly from

    Download Links:
Links are hidden from guests. Please register to be able to view these links. saves doing this via the Wii itself, they are divided by region and type e.g. USA Discs and saves alot of time doing it this way also

P.S. I also run everything from HDD, don't even use the slow SD port at all

    appreciate the tip.
however, opted to remain with the user provided package.
images comes as rom id's, and shared in a globally standard directory, in the same way as a default retail disk rip would be.
    thanks anyway.

You sound like you're unaware that a retail disc doesn't contain cover scans. USBLoader GX (and every app that adds covers to your files) simply pings Gametdb and pulls their covers off their server. You already know what your preferred directory structure looks like, you can keep that and just copy/paste the images into the folders you'd like.

It's great to have these backed up though, who knows if Nintendo just randomly sues Gametdb out of existence someday.
*Attention* A few of my uploads are offline. It should just be some small games, I will reupload them eventually. Nagging me if you see something offline might make me reupload them faster, or slower, who knows...?

    lol and nods

my comments where intended for the OP as it happens, but still a great idea to have a backup in the event Gametdb goes down for any reason.

    :somebodyputabulletinmyface:
    very enlightening, as usual.
i have my own way to do things, i don't recall asking.
and yes, more on the obvious, retail disks DON'T have an image for them, that's why i have this awesome package, courtesy of the OP.
...and my hastags contain all the rom id's, which lines up with my very singular preferences/catalogue ui.
has saved a lot of time.

Yeah hopefully I can complete this or get real close to having all of the covers and it will just be an easier way to keep them alive if anything happens. I added 150 more tonight. It's probably around 500MB. I started using Mega to download at first and it was pretty good and has always been solid other than some people like to make you go to adfly first. It's nice to see the admin, I've loved this site for so long.

I like to update images on Wii backup manager (on PC) after I install them as they seem to be different (and it's very fast), and I update the list as html with 3D covers so you can view all the games and each goes to the respective GameTDB page. But that's something to try also, and see if those images can just be copied, but I just wanted an exact backup of my SDCard and it has plenty of room left (I'm loading games from a one terabyte hard drive, but if I was more selective, I could easily use a 500GB one for just my favorite games). I wish the disc reader was working better, but it's really old now so everything has to be done this way.

    Added 178 more images (1,775 total/455 games)
