Gameboy Advance was pretty sweet bcuz it was basically a beefy handheld SNES. The Gameboy Advance SP was the best form factor for a handheld ever - I don't need 2 screens and touchscreens etc. just cool SNES looking games

If by "beefy" you mean "blinding,washed-out colors and awful audio quality with only half the sound channels of an actual SNES",then it was indeed very beefy. Plenty of great games to be found, but claiming it to be somehow superior to the SNES performance-wise is just plain dishonest. Compare any GBA port of a SNES game to it's SNES original and the differences are plain as day.
Spoiler warning:

I meant beefy beacuse it was 32 bit, it had no mode-7 but did mode-7ey things.
The screen size and the screen format were probably why graphics got munched and color shifted. I still liked the games, many good 2D SNES-esque games. My favorite system is still SNES but GBA was the closest thing to a 2D sucessor we got.
Definitely GameBoy Advance.
I grew up with this console and i have great memories when i was playing.
My very first game that i liked the most was Metroid series and Mega Man Zero ( 4 was the best :p ).
GBA😄
For sure NES!!! I got my first one pretty late... I was 11 or 12 back then.
But I still have that chunky old beast and still runs like a charm .
In meantime I started to collect / buy games and other things related to it.
So I am up now with a lot of games (boxed and unboxed) 5 consoles (NES frontloaders) a lot of controllers , joysticks, zapguns... and other stuff.
It's not the biggest collection, but hey!
About a month ago I got myself and Everdrive N8, which is much handier to have all games on one cartridge .
