The Sims 2 ISO not working!!

Hello! I'm really new here and I hope I'm reporting this alright. I found this link for Sims 2 and unfortunately, it does not work. It gives a very glitched image when the PS2 logo loads up just before the game loads. On top of which, I'm unable to play the game at all. It freezes just before character customization in Story Mode and in Free Mode, it freezes on the loading screen before editing a family.

I've tried the file three times in the span of a couple of hours and it still does not function.

It might be a problem with the emulator. I'm moving this to the emulation issues forum.
