how DO I run C64 GAMES?

I've down loaded " the bards tale , Questron, and the battle for midway 1942, but I cant open and run the games I loaded the vice emulator for commodore 64, but still the same result, question! could Kaspersky be blocking the programs? or do I need another program to open zip files? I did get and pay for a years subscription, also you may add any links that might help, please do so. thanks joe

Games need to be extracted from archives before using them with the emulator afaik...so I think you need d64/t64 files.
I recommend you use the latest version of 7zip (from the official site) to extract archives, it's free and has excellent compatibility.
