Cant run the game (GDL-0006)

I downloaded all the things of Mobile Suit Gundam: Federation VS Zeon DX.

I am using the highest rated Windows emulator MAME 0.142 (64-bit).

I put all files in to the roms folder and I opened the Mame.
It is showing "The selected game is missing one or more required ROM or CHD images."
I tried to put the .chd in to zip folder but still not working.

Any one can solve this problem? I really want to play this game.

The chd goes in a sub folder called gundmxgd inside the roms folder

You will also need the rom zip file and the bios zip file

I can't see version 0.142 being able to run this though anyway so you may need to update MAME to a more recent version 0.178 is the latest build

Use a gui version of mame like MAMEUI http://www.progettosnaps.net/mameui/

right click on the game and hit audit that will will tell you exactly what is missing or wrong and where it looked for the rom and or chd

the chd may be able to be fixed via one of the tools included with the official build of MAME though off the top of my head I do not remember how to use it, but it is a command line tool so running it directly does nothing

naomigd seems to of been updated to include more roms than our copy has

You could try using an older version of MAME though could not tell you the target version that will run the copy you have
