Default I'm experiencing problems with EPSXE and the SCP Toolkit.

I've encountered a problem that I've never seen before when connecting my PS3 controller to my PC. I connect the controller, and SCP Monitor says it's connected, but the controller simply won't work. I have the SCP Monitor, Driver Installer and the Bluetooth Driver Installer. I use both the Driver Installer and the Bluetooth Driver Installer, because they both work for me. However, as I said before, it registers as connected, but nothing actually works. I've never encountered this problem before. It doesn't even say J1_UNK1. I've fixed that problem, but when I do, the controller still doesn't wanna work.

I have Windows 10, and I have an authentic, original PS3 controller.

Have you tried the controller with anything else besides epsxe?
THE BEST METHOD to run PSX games (and everything else for that matter) is via Retroarch - http://buildbot.libretro.com/nightly/
If you have any questions on how to set it up on Windows please feel free to ask, its very easy.

Try pressing F5 with the ePSXe window active. This switches between Analog and Digital controller modes. In some games the controller will not work, like you describe, because the game needs Digital controller mode.

    Be afraid. Be very afraid.
