    Post Bad MAME Roms

I have downloaded a hand full of MAME roms off the page in alphabetical order and found out that many ROMS are dead.
Out of 11 downloaded all 11 could not run once loaded into MAME.

Is there a way to report broken roms on the Emuparadice site or should I just post them here as I find them?

My emulator: MAME for linux mint

A few of the broken roms so far...
    • 2p Nudger (Mdm?) (MPU4)
    • 600
    • 50 Lions (set 1 & set 2, both dead)
    • 7 Deadly Bins (Ace)
    • Aaron Spelling
    • A.G. Soccer Ball
    • APC ROM
    • A Nightmare On Elm Street (Bellfruit) (Scorpion 5) (set 1)
    • A Question of Sport (39-960-089)
    • AV Hanafuda Hana no Ageman (Japan 900716)
    • A. D. 2083

I tried two random ones (Zombie Raid and Boon-ga Boon-ga) and they worked so I know it's not all of them, but the sheer numbers of broken files I have been seeing so far is worrisome.

Did you get the parent roms as well?

What do you mean when you say they are broken?

Most of those didn't have parent roms (that I saw, anyway) or were the parent rom (ex: A Nightmare on Elm Street).

When I loaded them into MAME they were either yellow (AD 2083) or red (everything else). MAME warned me that the files were "not working" (red) or incomplete (yellow). Trying to load the files resulted in an unplayable game every time. Some of the files crashed my system on top of being unplayable! The incomplete file said it was missing sound, but it wouldn't run at all.It was effectively broken.

I'm running 8 GB of RAM and had only Firefox and MAME loaded so I know it's not a lack of resources on my end. I just downloaded MAME last night so it's a clean install. MAME has been correctly configured with all folders and INI files accounted for. I even made sure I have the MAME 0.133 BIOS Pack and it didn't make a difference. I don't think I'm missing anything in MAME itself. This leaves the ROMS as the error.
