Erm. Is that a single core CPU or is lt actually multiple? Maybe I'm just too oldhat but I haven't seen any new single core processors in years, or any at that frequency for that matter
"I think that the problem with this video is it is highly derivative of many popular bands within the genre. Although when viewed on its own merits, it does have a deeper groove. One can't help but be reminded of such bands as Pearl Jam, White Zombie, Suicidal Tendencies and other bands that bear the mantle of so called "Alternative Rock". One is even reminded of Lorie Anderson when she wore curlers. Hehehmhm! This video speaks less to the heart and more to the sphincter. In closing, I think Korn would do well to learn more from -"

It's quad-core. New single-core? AFAIK, both Intel and AMD don't produce single-core anymore and so too dual-core. He overclocked the i5-2500K to 4.2GHz with the aid of aftermarket cooling. I would be surprised if he overclocked it beyond 4.0GHz with only stock cooling.

Since I managed to bork my old laptops keyboard (alcohol and space heaters do not mix), I'm using a (very) slightly newer one.

After two years of not having a decent system after moving here, I finally stumped up some cash for a worthy machine.

Upgraded! £45 for a Phenom II X4 965 Black Edition, Gigabyte 970A-DS3 motherboard and a nice Cooler Master CPU cooler.

    CPU - I5 2500k @ 4.7ghz. 1.374v
CPU Cooler: Cooler master hyper 212+ (put an extra fan for push/pull)
    Ram: 16GB Gskill Ripsaws DDR3 1600mhz 4x4
    Motherboard: Gigabyte Z68x UD4 B3
HD Western Digital Caviar Black 1TB 7200RPM
    SS Adata 64GB (caching device)
GPUs: Sapphire Radeon 6990 (reference cooling) + Sapphire Radeon 6970 (tri-crossfire)
Case: Cooler Master HAF X Black
PSU: Corsair Professional Series Gold AX1200
    Disk drive: LG Bluray/DVD/CD read/write.

Upgrading to an I7 3770k here really soon + a Noctua NH D14 cooler. Getting a good deal on them used.

Negatives: My PC sounds like a Dodge Diesel truck revving up when the GPU fans kick in high gear. I have to use MSI afterburner custom fan controls to manage the temps, because stock fan profiles don't cut it for crossfire/SLI. Fans running 100% on both cards @ 85C, although they only reach those temps in the summer time. Skyrim with a heavy ENB pack uses 60-80% of all 3 of my GPUs. 60FPS @ 1080P though. Tri-Xfire doesn't normally work in Skyrim unless you use ENB.
