I've had the DVD RW and hard drive for a while, but I'm buying the other stuff soon. Can't wait to finally play some up to date games.

o man, o man...i havent been around for a while; I dissassembled project g, which was a big beoulve cluster from old comps and turned it into a render-farm running BSD, and my athlon xp 2400 is a thing of the past, so scope these specs:

    CPU: Dual Opteron 250
    Mobo: Tyan K8W
    RAM: 512 ECC DDR400
    HD 13 gig boot w/ Win2k3 corporate/Fedora 2 dual boot
Storage: 500 gig RAID 5 on SATA drives...damned fast throughput, and an external 120 gig drive on top of that
Video: nVidia Quadro FX 4000...'nuff said
    Monitors: Dell Dual-panel dual lcd
Mods: Well, my case is furry, has a pimp cane, a fuzzy hat on the cd spindle on top, and pink cathodes in the window...it's the pimpbox

    So...Doom 3 running full-quality at 110 fps, anyone?

Poopyface. You get that cuz of grades? I got $5 in middle school... and I saved up and got a Sega Genesis! Poopyface! Well, I have your OS, and my sound system is The Awesome, but other than that, you're a poopyface, and I blame things on others when things don't go my way.

World of Warcraft... my friend convinced me... bt what started as a skeptic sense of wary enjoyment has turned into the biggest time-waster of all... well, uh, time. I'm getting better. But that's what all addicts say.

    here's mine...

    Intel Celeron 400mhz
    Windows 2000
    256 mb ram
    60 gb + 10 gb hardrive
ATI 3d Rage Pro AGP 8 mb*
    CD-RW drive

*I'm getting a xfx geforce fx 5200. It's already on tis way. I'm aware this the low end card but I'm not going to be running doom 3 or half-life 2. I'll be running games that I was wanting to play when I had my piece of crap 3d rage pro. It says 3d yet it has problems with games that are barely 3d...
    Next upgrade : Processor. lol
