    Default Silent Hill Story

    Hello guys.
Does anyone know the real story of Silent Hill games?
1 and 3 are linked together.

All I know is that Harry Mason in Silent Hill 1 was looking for his daughter "Cheryl"..
But I don't get it, who is that young girl lying on ground when you fight the last boss and after the boss is killed that young girl gives a baby to Harry Mason.
So who is that young girl? Is she Cheryl and who was that baby she gave to Harry? Is she also Cheryl?

Again in Silent Hill 3, I figured out that Heather was actually Cheryl after beating the God and telling Douglas her true name.
I just don't get it. She is Heather. She is Cheryl. Yet she is Alessa at the same time!!!? What is that all about?

She looks at picture in the church and says...

    ...This picture. That's me...
..... I am holding the baby and I am the baby that is being held.

JUST what the heLl does that mean?

I'm not even going to try to make sense of the story. There's a synopsis of endings on that page. Presumably the pages for the other games have plot and ending details as well.

You should play SH3, you might get a better idea of the story since it's a direct sequel.

Cheryl is Alessa. Or at least part of her. Alessa is Alessa although incomplete until absorbing Cheryl. Heather is a combined Cheryl and Alessa.

The explanation for everything else is either aliens or dogs.

Oh, good. I was wondering who the babies father was.

The reveal is contained in the special maury disc that was bundled with the directors cut. It was only available for twenty minutes on a Thursday afternoon back in 2002

    Hello,
Does anyone understand Silent Hill 4: The Room?
What's it all about? Does Henry dream each night of all these places which are ( Subway World - Forest World - Water Prison World - Building World - Apartment World )? Are all these places considered dreams? Or does Henry really use the hole in the bathroom to go to a really real place and not just a dream?

Or are these places a dream and Henry tries to get rid of these dreams? Like he sees all these people such as Richard, Eileen, the Superintendent and all those red diaries which tell Henry how to get rid of his dreams and wake up.

You see it in the first world when Cynthia tells you "You are in my dream".
    So what does that mean?

Those places are all dreams but based on real places. Most are in the neighborhood, the prison and forest are in Silent Hill. The game itself doesn't take place in silent Hill. Because reasons.

The villain is store brand Freddy Kruger. It just happens that since Henry's apartment is where no name Kruger is using his power Henry gets dragged in too.

Also the apartment is knockoff kruger's mom. His dad was a very nice bungalow that left his mom for a young slutty diner.

The complete lack of aliens shows that this was not a true silent Hill game. There are however dogs which may or may not be masterminding the whole thing.

They all keep getting into his mom's holes.

Damn. I can't just understand the wiki. It's too long. Though it's very good and has all the real information but it's too long and I get confused in the way and forget what I read before or I just get stuck into something which I don't really understand such as the Ritual of the Holy Assumption. Is this some kind of thing to make himself a ghost?

I understand that he committed himself suicide in the prison in the real life of the game. So why and how the HelL he is in room 302 in the store room as a corpse?
How will he kill himself in the prison and kill himself in room 302?

    That's what I don't understand.

Because that wasn't walter that died in prison. It did however cover his escape.

It was the 90's. Prisons were overflowing with failed grunge musicians. I'm sure he had plenty of dudes who look sorta like him.

    Alternatively, aliens did it.

Okay read this for a moment.

Cynthia is first seen through the window in Room 302, standing near the subway entrance. Henry Townshend soon finds Cynthia in the Subway world

Well, Cynthia went to the Subway in the real world of Silent Hill game because we saw her through the window and this is the REAL town.
Then Henry saw her in the otherworld Subway through the Hole in the bathroom..

Cynthia is Stabbed by Walter Sullivan.

Well, if Walter is dead in the real world, how come Walter killed Cynthia in the real world when she entered subway?
Or was Cynthia somehow transferred automatically to a Ghost Subway or Otherworld Subway just after she entered the real one?

After that when you look through the window in the real world, we see the ambulance taking Cynthia and saying that she was killed in the Subway.
So that mean Walter indeed exists in the real world?
