Default Dungeons & Dragons: Shadow over Mystara 4 Player

Has anyone been able to get 4-player mode working on Dungeons & Dragons: Shadow over Mystara? I have been trying to get it working on RetroArch on the Wii, but I have only gotten two players working. Is there a specific version of the game that I need to be playing or is there a specific setting I need to change?

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Yup there is 4 Player for both Dungeons & Dragons Arcade games and no all versions have 4 Player support

I don't know about RetroArch and the Wii port though or even what core you are using as Retro Arch has CPS2 and MAME cores and both should support this game

But you just go into the Test Menu with the Service Mode button (F2 on PC no idea for the Wii), go into 7. Configuration from there, the next Menu go into 1. System then change 2. Chute Type to be 4 Players (whatever amount of Chutes you want [they are just the coin slots]) then go into 8. Exit then into 4. Save & Exit then 9. Exit

Welcome to the 4 Player Dungeons and Dragons world

Same thing for the other D&D game

Thanks Zorlon!!! I got it working. I wouldn't have been able to figure this out without your help.

In case anyone else has similar issues in the future, ddsom.zip has 4-player mode built into it. On the wii classic controller, the configurations menu is bound to the R3 button for player-1 by default. Unfortunately, the wii classic controller doesn't have an R3 button. So I was able to re-bind it to the unused R2 button with no problem.

On a sidenote, ddtod.zip for Dungeons & Dragons: Tower of Doom has 4 player mode activated by default.
