Default CDVD Read Error, sector - 0x00090ffb

I'm utterly lost, not understanding why. I'm starting to think maybe it's a windows 10 setting I have messed up somewhere? Don't even know.

Problem: Trying to run Final Fantasy 12 on PCSX2

I have went through configuration, and have my PS2's bios loaded up and in the correct folder, it is showing that just fine. I also have it set to the default settings it found when configuring PCSX2. I have the ISO in a seperate folder labeled ISOs. However, everytime I try to load up the game, it crashes right after the PS2 loading screens.

    Some pictures to help.

What region is the disc image and what is the crc32 of the disc image

If you are not sure how to find out the crc there are a few options Quicksfv can tell you by scanning the file with quicksfv or if you have the file compressed you can open the compressed file with 7-zip that will have the CRC info on the far right (you will need to scroll to the right to see it)

Trying to rule out a bad disc image that this sounds like it is

Cause a picture says it all:

Also. I have downloaded this ISO from emuparadise, coolrooms, and both fail. I hesitate to try other places, cause they look sketchy as it is.

The disc image is fine (make sure it is extracted before playing though)

You may want to consider looking at the EU version instead though it has the extra game content from the JP Final Fantasy XII International: Zodiac Job System version that the US version lacks

Is this error consistent for any other PS2 games?

Go here for the latest builds on various emulators including PCSX2 an PPSSPP - http://buildbot.orphis.net/

Not sure what version you are attempting to use on Windows 10, If that does not fix it il try to help you further.

Sorry. I thought I had a screenshot that had the version in it. I am using 1.4.0. I thought this might have been the problem too, as when I look on the compatibility page for FF12, it shows something like 1.1.0. I thought this meant that it can use 1.1.0 and later, but maybe it just NEEDS 1.1.0? Maybe windows 10 (At least how I have it set up) hates 1.4.0? Dunno...I'm continue to mess with it, see if I can get some sort of answer. I will look around on your website and see if it has anything for me.

This could be a very important bit of information to help solve your issue. Also, are you using Boot CDVD (full) or Boot CDVD (fast) ? I've heard the (fast) option tends to work where the (full) doesn't.

    Be afraid. Be very afraid.

I was running FF12 USA from my actual disc and it was running flawlessly, guess il have to try Full to see if it still loads.
