Hello, I am somewhat new to emulation and I have been having issues with getting Spyro: Year of the Dragon to work on ePSXe 1.9.25 starter pack. I have done lots of research so far and I have found out that I need to mount it as a virtual disk and patch it with a ppf and use a .sbi file. I found a version of the game with a .bin and a .cue file. Without doing anything to the files the game launches but crashes continuously after I enter the 2nd level of the first world (Sheila's Alp). Next, I used bchunk to make an iso from the .bin and .cue files. I had the options of a standard format(which is what Windows can natively read but does not work for ePSXe), a psx format (which ePSXe and windows can't read), and a RAW format (which Windows could not read but ePSXe could). I made the ISO in the RAW format and ran it with ePSXe just to make sure it would work. Next, I used the portable version of WinCDEmu 4.0 to mount the iso to a virtual cd drive because Windows could not recognize it. I then used P.E. Op.S. CDR Driver 1.4 to run the CD-Rom and patch it with a ppf file on the spot (I don't know if this ppf files works at all though) and used an sbi found on psxdatacenter for the subchannel data. I ran the CD-Rom and all that was there was a black screen.
