It's just crazy. I mean fair enough in western tv/movies you have politicians (senators or maybe even the vice pres) up to no good, but this game is anime level madness.

It isn't hey this is cool patriotism it's lol the country went to shit and the pres is a superhero GIANT ROBOT FIGHTAN

I have read on the net that some people seem convinced it's patriotic but I disagree. I think it's mockery, which is fine...and just my personal opinion.

Actually, if you can find Official Xbox Magazine Holiday 2004 issue #39 game disc it has a hidden MWC demo on it.
On the main screen of the demo disc, holding the left trigger and pressing left, X, Y, up, A, Y, B, up, down, down, Y, right, right, right, and then the Back button will unlock the demo. The directional pad should be used for all direction inputs, as the thumbsticks will not work. Once the code has been entered by pressing "Back", the left trigger can be released. All of the instructions for the control layout are in Japanese, but are not difficult to work out from the diagram and in-game context.
Which you don't even need a modded console to play.

Unless the President is portrayed as a dumbass or a baddie I'd think it was more parody than mock.

If the president would get in a giant fucking Mech and save the day that would be the most badass thing ever...........too bad I only see conservatives doing such a feat.

Well if you just think elements of the game are an exaggerated imitation. But I think it's more of an absurd imitation.

Either works tbh, the two words are very similar in meaning.

Hooooly shit tonight was much needed. Went out for drinks with the girlfriend and her parents, and had fun at a karaoke bar. Pretty crazy having a girlfriend's parents like me. And her Dad is pulling a few strings and might get me a job. (Plus the manager owes him a favor. )

Now for bed. Gonna bother Playstation tomorrow for a refund for No Man's Sky.
