    Nice things like cable routing, lots fan mount points, bottom mounting PSU, etc. .

    Cable ties and conduit.
    2 rear fans should be plenty, if you want some for the front or side that can be done fairly easily.
    Turn the case upside down if you want the psu at the bottom.

    I used to have 2 of those old huge beige cases they both had intel pentium cpus I remember laughing at the clock speeds on them and at one point thought to make 1 into a dos machine since they both had cd drives in them. oh and tiny ass hdd like 8mb or something.

    Fans are the furthest thing from fluff. Unless you want to run your stuff hotter for no reason .

    If someone wanted to make a mostly custom tower and make a project out of it I could understand it. If you're looking to do that you can probably machine your own case anyway.
