Faster internet is always a good thing. Ours will be a huge upgrade from 3mbps Down to 25mbps down. Hopefully the upload speed is good too. Wanting to do some sttreaming sometime soon.

ours is around 8mb but it's not that shitty dsl we had so upload speeds are much better now. not as fast as I'd like but still good at 600-800kbps

When I had 40Mbps service speedtest was at 5down/3up, just fast enough to run Onlive on my crappy laptop. Now, Onlive is dead, I got my desktop back, and the old laptop won't start up without repairing windows.

Hopefully you get less gimped speeds compared to what you're paying for.
