The two guys aren't blatantly wearing Mario and Luigi caps, they have different letters there I think. Costume colours are pretty obvious and they have mustaches, Bowser is just a guy with a mask and a really crappy costume, Peach doesn't look like Peach. She isn't even blonde.

I guess Nintendo could do something about it, but people doing cosplay sort of thing (with very accurate costumes) and getting paid would be more likely to get into legal trouble.

I just remember hearing a story about a Mario porno way back when that Nintendo jumped on is no longer available to the public, at least through legal means.

Maybe it was that one idk. Not sure what you mean by way back though, to me that could be a decade or more
It would still be floating around regardless, google brings up a bunch of screenshots quite easily too.

It was a good while ago. Nintendo even bought up the rights so no one could make more of them. Yes Nintendo owns the porn rights to several of its characters. Because of course.

Doesn't change the fact that they already had a sequel out by the time the smoke cleared.

We live in a terrible reality.

I believe they own various .xxx domains as well because of this.

They do. Nintendo ' s holdings of weird rights are pretty vast.

But I consider it a good investment. I mean Sega was slow on the draw and we all know what happened to sonic.

Did you read "Console Wars"? Interesting stuff there with Sega's history.

I think rule 34 is the least of Sonic's worries.

I haven't but it sounds like necessary reading material.

Which I sorely need because I never do anything but read at work.

You kidding? Guy hasn't been able to make eye contact with tails since sonic 2. This rule 34 is ruining his life.

All I do is audiobooks at work; past 2 years has been book after book. Actually there is one of "Console Wars".

If they still did love hotels (but using their gaming IPs for themes) they could probably make an absolute killing and swallow Sony's gaming division.

I'm sure quite a few dudes would be all Mario Kart 4 life.

    Even better. No reading required.

I should get into audio books. Tracking down music is lame and I'm not a big podcast fan.

Or if they reopened their gambling division. Even Konami realizes how much money there is to be made in pachinko. Which is why silent Hill and metal gear pachinko are both things.

Nothing worse than getting a case of the blue shells when you're about to finish.
