Default PSP UMD Video, not sure if dump is good or bad?

    See title.
So I've got this dump and I have no idea if it's any good, and I don't know where to check if it's good or bad
I would prefer not being told to submit stuff on redump so I can actually see hidden stuff there

Haven't actually tested it on my PSP yet. I should probably do that

    Should be fine

I dunno if UMD video dumps actually work though. I know back when they were actually a thing they 100% didn't work, because nobody gave a fuck about them. But that would've been before the PSPs authentication keys got out.
*PSA* Wii Redump collector's can now unscrub ISO files. So scrubbed games can now be verified. You can find the program to do this here

    Thanks for the link.
I'll test it tomorrow but if the dump is ok I'm hopeful I can get it to work, everything does now afaik if you use current CFW. Even PSX2PSP eboots with CDDA audio work fine if you have the correct plugin.

Technically it's UMD video but it's basically a promo disc that was out around the time of the first movie...digital comics based on the comic series, music, videos from the games, interview with the director of the movie and series movie composer.

Maybe I might have to mount the iso but I'll see what happens.

You should of asked me .

    http://datomatic.no-intro.org/?page=...rd&s=71&n=0058 no verifications yet.

If I ever get a reply from other more knowledgeable muchachos regarding UMD Video il be able to give you a more detailed response.
THE BEST METHOD to run PSX games (and everything else for that matter) is via Retroarch - http://buildbot.libretro.com/nightly/
If you have any questions on how to set it up on Windows please feel free to ask, its very easy.

    More info is always welcome.

    Edit:
Well it seems to work fine, although I've just navigated around briefly looking at a few things and haven't extensively tested every interactive part of it.

CFW: 6.60 LME 2.3 (using inferno driver atm).

Basic instructions to get it working:
    • Create a new folder inside your ISO Folder. Name it VIDEO
    • Copy the ISO inside the VIDEO folder, path: \ISO\VIDEO\Hill-Experience.iso (or whatever the UMD video is named)
    • Press Select on the PSP to access VSH menu. Move the cursor to “ISO VIDEO MOUNT” and select (L or R) Hill-Experience.iso
    • Exit (didn't reset VSH or anything like that).
    • To play the Video, go to the Video menu -> UMD and press X.

PS: I never use USB connect to add stuff, I remove my memory card and do it all on PC.
