    Red face Burning Download ISO

    Hi All, I am having problems getting a Playstation 1 iso to write to a blank cd. The download seems to have a .bin.ecw extension?? i am trying in image burn and also tried deleting the ecw part. I cant get it to burn to a cd am i doing something wrong or can i not burn to a cd. I want to play them on my modded Playstation. thanks in advance for your help

    You can never delete a file extension or any type. Renaming is highly discouraged as well.

    ECM is a file compression method used in the early days of PSX piracy. To decompress the ECM into a BIN file, you must used ecmtools.
    http://www.emuparadise.org/PSX/ecm%20tools.rar
    Extract ecmtools then drag/drop your ECM file onto the unecm.exe

    It will produce a use-able game file

    hi thanks for the help. I have downloaded that tol. i managed to create a ECM file and not the other way. What would i type into the cmd prompt? a bit confused

    No need to work in the command prompt. All you need to do is drag your ECM file on top of the unecm.exe
