THE BEST METHOD to run PSX games (and everything else for that matter) is via Retroarch - http://buildbot.libretro.com/nightly/
If you have any questions on how to set it up on Windows please feel free to ask, its very easy.
UPDATE: I'm just about to setup the latest RetroArch, released on the 11th of August.
As much as getting the CPU, Windows 10 doesn't tell me what my CPU is. Unless it has some new, stupid nickname, then I need to know the name so I can find it.Originally Posted by Warrior
EDIT: Tried to setup RetroArch and it went ballistic, so I stopped and deleted RetroArch, because there was some sort of mistake in the download... probably. It said that it was missing a .dll. Forgot the name, but it couldn't launch until it had that file.

Yep, the evil that is Windows 10 doesn't let you know what CPU you have.

Didn't actually read again. I only saw that it required something about an "auv2744.dll" thing. Can't remember the full title of the file, but to my knowledge it never came in the download.
Thanks for showing where I can easily find my CPU. I wonder how many people tried to downgrade from Windows 10, knowing how awful it is.Originally Posted by Inferno

I guess try the stable build instead of the nightly, I never heard of that dll and a search pulled up 0 results.

Give me the error message and I may be able to get a solution hopefully.
Win 10 tends to give weird random errors.

RetroArch should startup without a hitch normally.
