Unhappy Any way of Capcom Play system 3/CPS3 emulation on fbalpha 3ds homebrew?

Fb alpha Has a port on 3ds and every game I've tried works except for cps3 games. I tried Jojo's Bizarre Adventure, Street Fighter III 3rd strike, and Red Earth. I've downloaded every version of the rom on this website, Yes also downloaded CHDs. And will get errors and my 3ds will freeze. I'm using new 3ds.

I know it can be done. I found this Chinese forum page with screenshots. http://bbs.duowan.com/thread-43907040-1-1.html

Sorry you got no response so far, I suggest you go look up how to setup RetroArch on 3DS to simplify the whole process as I think that is the only way to run those and more on 3DS but I may be wrong.

FYI that is a chinese forum, not japanese.
THE BEST METHOD to run PSX games (and everything else for that matter) is via Retroarch - http://buildbot.libretro.com/nightly/
If you have any questions on how to set it up on Windows please feel free to ask, its very easy.

As it happens that is RetroArch they are using with the FBA-CPS3 core

Retroarch for the 3DS is the best option as far as emulation goes on the 3DS at the moment

You may need to be looking at the nightly builds though

Could you please enlighten us with your solution to the freeze?

I'm sure any other 3DS RetroArch users would be glad to hear it.

Retroarch 3ds has been broken for months, with the last significant update to these cores happening Nov 2015.

Download the 1.3.3 stable build cores, and grab the CPS2, Mame 2000 and FBA 0.97.28 romsets from archive.org for better compatibility.

You might want to check back with Libretro

Officially though Retroarch for 3DS does not include the FBA-CPS3 core anyway that this thread is aimed at

No FBA-CPS3 for 3DS as of yet, though screen grabs seem to be around

I'm aware that one of the Libretro devs now has a couple of CFW 3DSs, so hopefully some of the regressions will be reversed.

Personally I don't trust the screengrabs as representing real CPS3 roms running properly. I'm still impressed at the mostly perfect CPS2 and FBA emulation. Battle Garegga at full speed and proper screen orientation..? That's bloody incredible..
