    Default Ragnarok Online Fee?

    Just wondering are beta testing is done and you have to pay to play? I wanted to try it for free but I seem to have missed ny chance to.

    yeah so did i...i was d/ling it off of DC++ but when it was finished it said $$$ for three months....i was pissed, heard so much neat and awsome stuff about RO...maybe later on there make it free again

    it was a very fun game until you had to start paying but there are private servers you can goto to play still but usually their packed from what i'v heard, wouldnt kno, i entirely quit after i had to pay

    Dang luckly I didn't spend my time downloading it on my 56k but on my friends cable connection.

    I did also quit to play Ragnarok Online. It was no fun to play on the private servers...

    I think it's a rip off that you have to pay to play a downloaded multiplayer game. That wouldn't be fun.

    Well, how do you think they are going to afford the servers to allow about 20,000+ people to play ragnarok? Not like they have money coming out of their arses....

    True. I think they could at least sell the game, not having you to download it. well, never mind.

    Yeah game comanies need $$$ to maintain their servers so that more and more people can be access online at the same to play or chat on their server. So paying a little monthly fee is not such a big deal. However, there are some free online server like Bnet and MS Zone.


    They are hot, aren't they??

    I played RO when it was free. It was quite fun but you had to spend a lot of time playing to have a decent character and things in the game were very expensive.

    Yeh it took me quite a while to pass my novice levels, but when you have an actual job your levels seemed to get higher alot quicker....

    I didn't find things that expensive, i always just sold tons of crap after i've been fighting, i usually sold 300+ jellopys and tons of other crap each time i played....

    It did also deppend on the job you had. Try leveling up quickly a merchant...
