Problem with Crash Team Racing

Hey guys,

I´ve got a question about Crash Team Racing.

I would love to play against the "boss" enemies in these "free games" where I can play up to 7 rounds. (like in that purple cup) I wanted to play on Papus Pyramide. I knew that Oxide forces crashes, so I decided not to use him.

I found some gameshark codes on Youtube, which I used:

8008710E 0000

The problem is, that I get a green screen and some "pixel bugs" and the game crashes.

I´m using the newest epsxe version. My Video Plugin is "Pe Op S soft driver v1.18, my sound plugin "epsxe spu score 2.0.0.

I´m using a *ecm data, but I could also use the Platinum Disk version of that game (both PAL).

My PC Specs:
Intel Xeon 1230v3
GTX 970
8GB DDR3 Ram

Could you help me with that problem?

Gameshark is NTSC so going to guess the codes are for the NTSC version not the PAL version of the game
