Default Downloaded Wii games and USB Loader GX

Hi, I've got an issue with a few games I downloaded on this forum.

I've got around 45 Wii games running in USB Loader GX that I ripped myself. They all work, no problems there.

Recently I downloaded a few (Wario Land Shake It, Sonic Colors, Rodea, Mario Party 8) I couldn't find in person.

They run fine in Dolphin (iso and wbfs) but when the wbfs files are moved to my Fat32 formatted hard drive, and using USB Loader GX, the downloaded games return to the Wii home screen when I try to start them.
Every other game still works but the downloaded games don't even have the animated scene that usually show when a game is selected.

The files are inside their own folders in the wbfs folder on the hard drive, and I was able to get them to download cover art from GameTDB.

I used ISO to WBFS to convert the files.

Is there anybody who knows what is causing this?

    Exclamation

(there's a hash db that has a checksum list of known iso to wbfs converts, but it's at RS.)
okay, i'm on setup 4.2E, bannerbomb flash, usbcfg 245.
also fitted with a wicked wode jukebox, if it wasn't for that, doubt i'd care about the wii.
you'll need to find a compatibility listing to the wbfs supported in USB loader GX.
it's also possible a vital cIOS isn't present?
it can be complicated this wii bs.
a few games i have WON'T work with usbcfg 245, and that's retail disks dumped to the redump.org standard
they were scrubbed, and it was bad juju, long live the wode jukebox.
    game are:
1, monster hunter 3, require a specific cIOS stub, fuck that!
2, xenoblade chronicles has to be setup in usbcfg, or it would go crazy on the soft/hardmod detection.
3, pandora's tower same above, but enabling stealth mode on the wode took care of the rest.
    ...
and there's a handful of others.
    all i can suggest is:
1, visit the forum of the emu developers and query them direct, here's far from the place, epf has no stake.
2, be sure what you download is confirmed working beforehand, by the user supplying the games, their first hand tests.
3, to cut through the bs right off the bat, seek out ONLY retail dumps/UNSCRUBBED retails and deal with them on a case by case basis.
the 1/1 redump standards are source materials, and can be referred to if in any troubles.
    ...
try tweaking the usb GX thing, it should have a setup per game, and also, DON'T forget to resync any usb device plugged into the wii if using rom loaders.
usbcfg is in a static state and doesn't keep track of additions/deletes, usb volumes that have been added/subtracted to have to be reacquired at the frontend.
it could be the case for usb GX?
    ...
check settings, and only rip confirmed redump images and handle them yourself.
    can't account for scrubs...

Assuming you got your stuff from here, most of the postings would've been from me. Wario is a Redump, ain't nothing wrong with it. Sonic wasn't me. Rodea is a repost of the first scrubbed ISO that popped up everywhere on the net, I tested it before posting it, and I also have a Redump of it now if needed. There's no way I'm actually going to bother booting up Mario Party, I think I may still have a Redump of it though, if that'd be helpful.
*PSA* Wii Redump collector's can now unscrub ISO files. So scrubbed games can now be verified. You can find the program to do this here

Most of the games I downloaded from here I got from you.
They downloaded and worked fine in Dolphin so I think any problem came from when converted the iso to wbfs.
The converted files are the only games on my hard drive that won't run on the Wii.

I used a program called ISO to WBFS. Is there another program you would recommend trying?

    This:

It's what I use to manage my hard drive, and has never had a single issue.

Use what Ragnor linked, do not convert to WBFS though before using the manager, let the manager do that for you instead of ISO to WBFS

As for the manager is it placing the files the same way that the files are placed when you copy an original disc as in the same folder depth ect or are you getting a duplicated folder at any point as that alone would prevent a game from launching, that may just be an error in setting the manager software up
