Question Bought a Zelda 3DS (Link between worlds) recently. Did I pay too much?

I paid £140 for the unit. The console was used but apparently in very good condition. System software is 9.2 and there are 5 games included in the unit (MH3, Fire Emblem, Link Awakening, Phoenix Wright, Zelda four swords) but doesn't come with a charger.

I have a feeling I may have rushed my purchased on this one.... Any opinions?

A boxed unit with no game goes for £130 at CEX.

Here's another boxed unit with no game for £115.

An unboxed unit with no game goes for £100.

I suppose they price by condition and whether it's boxed or not.

One on eBay with no game for just short of £110.

Amazon charge stupid prices for a new unit, £250.

Zelda bundles tend to command a better price than a normal 3DS consoles. It's normal for an XL to be supplied without a charger. You are also on 9.2fw which means you can use Gateway or CFW.

If it's boxed with the bundled Zelda game and the additional games, (4 Swords was a limited download, you can't get it any more, so make a backup of your SD card), then I'd say it's not a bad price.

buy a charger official or not argos might have some

I would say too much as you can buy a new 3DS for less than that

If you got it for the Zelda theme then that is fine, personally I go for function rather than patern

I agree with buying a unit cheaper rather than paying extra for a themed version.

Which is why I stated in my first post that Zelda (or any other theme) bundles tend to fetch a higher price.

o3DS XL new boxed units aren't easy to come by now, even when I got mine a while back (brand new) they were quite scarce and I'm not even talking about themed units.
Yes the themed units in good condition tend to fetch more, plus yours has lower firmware.

It would've been good to get a charger with it but as mentioned they don't come with them new, and you should be able to find one cheap enough.

If it's o3DS you might want to look at grabbing the Circle Pad Pro...I got mine brand new boxed from Japan (Slide Pad Expansion for 3DS LL unit) for around $20au free shipping.
There aren't a huge amount of titles that support it but still a few so it's still worth getting imo:
