    Default i need help (Installing a PC game)

    i recently downloaded a pc game called stone keep . i cant get it to run. i have A fairly old (2006) laptop with windows xp. i dont know how to install the game or get it to run
    . when i click on the msdos promt it tells me that there is a 16 bit subsystem eror and closes. i just want to play the ddamn game will some one please help me get the freakin thing going

    DOSBOX is going to be the easy way to play that game, though an XP based machine booted into Dos mode should also work providing the DOS environment is setup correctly for that game.. DOXBOX is the easy way and can be used on modern systems (a little daunting at first but once you are used to it, it's not that bad plus you can use a front end if you really are struggling with it)

    DOSBOX is a X86 emulator basically an Old PC emulator using DOS as it's OS

    P.S. I was sure that game also got a PSX version that you may find easier to get running, think it was even loosely based on RPG like books (Fighting Fantasy series of books if I remember correctly)
