Default A question about my Specs...

I have a pretty good system that can play some PS2 games on The PCSX2 emulator, but there are some games that have a lot of slowdown now and then.

The Games I'm having issue with are the following:
    Metal Gear Solid 3
    Soulcaliber 3
    R-Type Final
    God of War 2

They run super smooth 70% of the time, but there are random spots where it gets sluggish.
I've tweaked a few settings with some progress, And I have looked at thread for the specs needed to run PS2 games,
but I need to know if my specific specs are strong enough to run these games, and if so, what can I adjust in the emulator to get
    the best settings?

    Specs:
Operating System: Windows 10 Pro 64-bit
    CPU Intel Xeon E5645 @ 2.40GHz 32 °C
    Westmere-EP 32nm Technology
    RAM 6.00GB Triple-Channel DDR3 @ 664MHz (9-9-9-24)
    Motherboard LENOVO Lenovo (1366-pin LGA) 21 °C
Graphics 1024MB ATI AMD Radeon HD 6450

All of those games take more power than most. Most of them are some of the best looking games that hit the system. You can find information on how to get specific games running in PCSX2 at http://wiki.pcsx2.net/index.php/Main_Page. Each game has a list of the different test runs with detailed information on the systems used to test, as well as different settings the tester enabled to make the game run smoothly.

Found on the wiki page for Xeon processors:

Disadvantages that make Xeon processors unsuitable for most consumer-grade desktop PCs include lower clock rates at the same price point (since servers run more tasks in parallel than desktops), absence of an integrated GPU, and no support for overclocking.
This might make PS2 emulation difficult. Best bet is to try any Speed Hacks in the Emulator to try to get it running faster, turn down graphics settings, etc.

That's a typo. It's what I get for typing at 3am in the morning.
And oddly enough, I've found I can run quite a number of Games and Emulators rather will with this setup.
I finally got Dante's inferno to run on PPSSPP now, and it's very smooth.

A lot of emulators depend on your CPU rather than GPU, so it's probably the 2.4GHz processor that is giving you PS2 problems. If PPSSPP works then reducing the resolution of PS2 emulation might help.
