Quite a bit of good shit on Wii plus you get the Gamecube library.

Yeah the Wii has some good games. The mario games are all dependable and fun.

Newer Wii's you can't run burned discs that are not official nintendo discs , its the drive itself that locks it out so CFW don't mean squat.

You can still run from a ODE and External source from port 0.

Do not get the "slim" rerelease. At this point though, I believe you may get any other model. For awhile you could not boot discs from the black Wii's but you could still do it over HDD.This may have changed, but if you insist on using disc backups, then get an older white Wii.

I can't remember where I read it but I read something about running games from an sd card is that possible?
