    Default How Does the PSP ISO's Work?

    So, With the PSP ISO's (Specificly Metal Gear Solid Peace walker US) The RAR it comes in is not accepted by PPSSPP. So Inside I Opened it, Nothing in there worked. So I Opened the RAR, and there was an ISO in it, And I ran it! and It Infinitly Froze on New game. Any Help?

    does the iso (umd) match this hashtag?
    ^^ if yes, then it could be down to emulator settings, hardware capacity, or plain rom compatibility?
    may not be fully supported yet?
    study ALL user documentation, and look for a compatibility listing as well.
    oh, hit up the site the emu devs are based at, and leave a bug report if the issue persists. (save any logs the emu pumps out on any errors.)
    ...
    if your rom DOESN'T match that hashtag on the money that could be why?
    a possible bad dump, or unknown variant?

    Try going to here http://www.ppsspp.org/downloads.html scroll down until you see where it says automated ppsspp builds. Grab the one off the top of that list. Extract it to a new folder somewhere and try running your game again with the new version of ppsspp.
