Default Crash Bash trouble. Using PCSXR on Mac

I download it from the site unzip the .7z and get the .bin and .cue files. i run the .cue and it starts with the "Sony Computer Entertainment Presents" then cuts off to the Insomniac logo which leads to Spyro Year of the Dragon. I've tried several downloads from different sites and i keep getting Spyro. if its important, i'm on OSx Yosemite 10.10.5.

The game might have copy protection, at least I think the PAL version does anyway. Grab the appropriate .sbi file.
I can't remember if PCSXR can use them but ePSXe does.

Again, ePSXe I'm not sure if you can use it with PCSXR.

You tried ePSXe with the patch? It should work.

    ePSXe is not for mac

the ntsc patch you linked from my thread is actually a ppf patch that can be applied directly to the bin image (just rename the file inside the zip to have .ppf at the end instead of the numbers it has) e.g. change .70 to .ppf

find a ppf patching prog for the mac there are a few out there (I am not a mac user so could not advise any single patching prog to you)

apply the patch to the binary file (the *.bin file)

I think it should work via Wine but maybe you need XQuartz too.
