Your connection is unstable then I suggest you use a download manager to help solve that, it will check the file as it downloads and help ensure you get all of the download not just part of it due to a connection instability

all i did was a raw copy and paste of the redump hash page, it caught it ALL!
that 'NULL' on the lower of the mastercode is for dual layer dvd's only, web page accounts for the largest submission type, info is defined clearly at the time of submission.
all that 'NULL' is for, is just empty entry space, because there's NO dual mastering codes for dvd5's, just for dvd9's.

After 3 pages, we have figured out that your download was interrupted.

Emuparadise used to recommend Flashgot + Flashget as a download manager, but if you already have one that should help make sure your game downloads properly, like Zorlon said.

FYI 350MB is about the size of a small or uncompressed PS1 game. The link you downloaded THUG2 from quotes a file size of 2.1GB. Please try your download again, and if you have another problem running the game, start a new thread so we can put this all behind us.

Most PS2 games are DVD based so they are a lot bigger than PSX games, which are all CD based.
I've never had any issues downloading from the main site but I cant remember the last time I downloaded anything bigger than a CD. All I've ever used is Firefox with DownThemAll addon.
Larger downloads are more prone to interruptions.

i'm using opera 31.0, because various sites i frequent updated their code base, had no choice.
other knows are hit and miss, this POS barely holds it's own.
that said, won't go near addon downloaders, browsers has it's own protocol, even if there's some benefit to have a specific tcp related transfer assist.
patience works on the rip, can't deny that in any way, rare does it die and screw up the file.
uploading to HTTP (basic instinct, POS! bill hicks) is another story altogether, i sure i've :madbro: about it on other subjects..

Don't see how that is related at all PS1 file size vs PS2 file size is totally different

Downloads fine for me with no download manager but I do have a good connection (Google Chrome user here though not going to jump in and recommend it either, just too lazy to bother trying anything different again, most are much the same the only one I would stay away from is Microsoft's web browsers)

Screen grab shows the correct size before and after extracting and the correct CRC value, downloaded from our own server the link you gave early on in the thread

7zip is showing the size in bytes windows does in KB

just right click the 7z file and use the 7zip sub menu and choose extract here
