ps2,ps1 color problem

hi i have just registered here so i need some help.
i'm from argentina and this is the first time i download and burn a game because i bought others
i downloaded silent hill for psx and shadow of the colossus for ps2 but both games have a different color all is green this games are on ntsc format and i have the chip matrix 1.99
i also tried with different tvs and changing format by pressing triangle+circle but it seems no to be saved when i reset the ps2

not using any hardmodded ps2, just FHDB.
i recall the CRT bs, that looks like the wrong cable and/or console settings are applied.
is that cable CVBS/composite, or Y.U.V./scart?
make sure the tube is set up accordingly.

my console is PAL-EUR, and if ANY video cable NOT accommodating s-video when running NTSC items through it, black and white it was.
component doesn't have this issue.
perhaps the cable you have is damaged, or not wired at the right pins (UK specific) as a lot are...even though official.
if that's a scart cable, same again.
maybe a hardmod issue?
best bet, isn't here, but at a dedicated ps2 forum, like psxscene for example.
try another cable, check existing ones for continuity.

It's all green, that is not fine

The sky should have some colour in it and the text should be more brown as well, not green (the text colour is the big give away)

Though yes the start screen is mostly green anyway but it is not totally green void of any other colour

I remember the sky always being green even during gameplay, too.

Gonza, can you try inserting a different game, or is this the only one you have?
