Um jammer lammy lag

Whenever i get a bad or awful score on a stage on um jammer lammy it will lag a crapton . And I'm using a mid-tier gaming pc. Any help?

You might want to mention what emulator you're using if you want some help from people.

however, check rom compatibility, support and the like.
study ALL user documentation that came with the emulator package.

also, given the nature of something grunting ps2 consoles, reduce any/all processes you don't need running in the background, such as movie/music viewers nd any archivers.
the latter WILL chunk up your system and lag it if it's handling archives, no matter how powerful. (the only difference there, is speed of which an archive is created by how powerful a machine is, IF the program accounts for hw environments.)
yeah, more infos, and read up on the whole emulations deal.
1, user documentation that came with the archive/package.
2, rom compatibility/support. (docs may contain suggested optimum settings for specific hw cfg's?)
3, eliminate ALL background shit you don't require, but keep firewalls/av's and the like active.

Use http://psxdatacenter.com/ to get good settings per game (If your GPU can handle the settings outlined there)

If not though just switch to software rendering

Also worth noting that ePSXe 2.0.0 is reported to run faster than it's previous versions so is better for those on lower end hardware
