Default From CloneCD to multi .bin tracks

Hi! There's a currently undumped game (the Italian version of Dino Crisis 2, SLES-03224) which I'd like to dump myself. Even if redump.org have no information about it, there's the European English version to compare the audio track (which should obviously have the same md5).

A "perfect copy" made with CloneCD (composed of an .img, a .ccd, a .cue and a .sub) is currently available. Since we know there are two tracks (data and audio), I wonder if there's a way to separate the .img into two .bins, using either the .ccd or the .cue.

I would prefer something doable in a GNU/Linux system, otherwise I should resort to my mom's computer, but, first things first, I'd want to know if it is theoretically possible and how.

To do a perfect dump that redump would accept you need to dump from the original disc using the methods they outline

converting a bin+cue or img+ccd will not have the same results and would not be accepted by redump

separating the tracks and keeping the image as a bin+bin+cue is not that hard to do but also rather pointless

You own Dino Crisis 2 PAL Itallian?

If so I can try to give you a hand in dumping it but most likely the only way to have it added to ther DB is if you have a specialized drive that has a very low reading offset and that can overread.

Unluckily, my disc is in such bad shape it doesn't even play. Guess I can't expect much more, since I was very little when I had it and I wasn't as careful as now towards those things.

I guess a dump from that would result in a less accurate file than if dumping from the first chapter instead

You could try looking for places that have professional disc resurfacers , if the disc is that bad when you attempt to dump it it will lock up from unreadable sectors.

The few Blockbuster stores that still exist here usually have a resurfacer. Probably cost a couple of dollars per disc.
